Each month of the year, a different local, national, global or UCC mission is chosen by the Social Awareness Committee to receive our Mission of the Month offerings.

Please prayerfully consider making a donation to the worthwhile missions of  the month. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

April’s mission of the month is: LYCOMING COUNTY SPCA

The mission of the month is Lycoming County SPCA. The SPCA’s mission is to protect domestic animals by providing shelter, emergency treatment, investigation and prosecution of cruelty or abuse complaints; adoption and counseling; education programs; and humane care throughout Lycoming County. This organization is individually and privately funded, meaning that it relies on donations to continue it’s mission. Since our missions to date have dealt with human needs, the Social Awareness Committee thought that it might be a change of pace to focus also on the needs of animals as well.

Monetary donations are always welcome but also gift donations…Some might include:

Non-clumping cat litter

Kitten/ puppy food, dry or wet

Kitten formula

Dye free dog food

Laundry Detergent

Cleaning supplies/bleach
