New Covenant’s annual Pork and Sauerkraut Lunch/Dinner and Bazaar will take place on Wednesday, November 8th.
The tradition of eating pork and sauerkraut for good luck was brought over from Germany by our ancestors in the faith. Many members continue to carry-on this tradition with their families on New Year’s Day and we share this tradition with the community annually on the day after election day.
All you can eat meals, served family style and with all the fixins, will be available from 11am to 1pm for lunch or from 4pm to 7pm for dinner and take-outs will be available all day. Tickets are $10, $5 for children age 5 – 12 and children under 5 are free. Tickets are available at the church office prior to the event or at the door the day of.
In addition to the meal there will also be a bake sale, attic treasures for sale and several vendors will have their items available for purchase as well.
Hope you can join us…It’s “Wunderbar!!!”
