Advent and Christmas Schedule

We hope you’ll join us all month long as we sing the carols and read the scriptures of preparation and celebration.

We begin the season on the first Sunday of Advent, December 1st, with a message inspired by Charles Dickens’, “A Christmas Carol.” The following Sunday, December 8th, the message will be inspired by the beloved holiday classic, “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer.” Our choir will perform their cantata, “A Winter Rose,” on Sunday, December 15th. Then on December 22nd, we will take part in an all-church participation Christmas pageant. Our Christmas Eve Candlelight service will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday evening, December 24th and include a story for all ages. A Service of Carols will be held on Sunday morning, December 29th. And we’ll conclude the Advent and Christmas seasons on the 12th day of Christmas, with our celebration of the magi’s visit on Epiphany Sunday, January 5th.

We hope you can join us for some or all of these services and that you’ll find them to be a meaningful part of your holiday season. All are welcome! At New Covenant UCC, no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!
